Ingredients
1 3-4-pound beef brisket
3 tbsp of Take A Peak Prime Rib Seasoning
1 tbsp of Take A Peak Granulated Garlic
1 tbsp of Take A Peak Seasoning Salt (No Msg) on top
8 slices of Bacon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Trim the thick layer of fat down to about a ¼ inch. Rub the prime rib seasoning and granulated garlic into the brisket roast on all sides and sprinkle the top with a little seasoning salt.
Wrap bacon slices around the roast the best you can evenly. Place in large baking dish, fat side down. Cover the dish with foil and let it marinade overnight. The next day remove the foil and cook the brisket in the baking dish or roasting pan for 4 hours.
Remove baking dish or roasting pan from oven. Flip roast over so it's fat side up. Cover the brisket with foil and return to oven for an additional hour.
Remove the baking dish or roasting pan from the oven.
Remove from oven and let brisket rest for about 5 minutes. Cut into ¼ inch slices against the grain. Serve with your favorite barbeque sauce.
